Confused about what costs are associated with relocating a vehicle? Learn about what a refundable deposit is and how it works.
There are 3 costs that can be associated with booking a relocation vehicle, the relocation cost which is the nominal cost of the relocation (typically $1 per day), the extra day cost if you decided to extend your relocation and the booking fee.
There are 2 deposits required to book a relocation vehicle. The first is a refundable holding deposit paid to Imoova. This deposit is refunded to you when you pickup the vehicle. This deposit is a guarantee to the supplier that you will pickup the vehicle. The second is a security deposit (bond) paid to the supplier when you pickup the vehicle. This deposit is refunded to you when you return the vehicle to the supplier in the same condition as you received it.
Most relocations have a mileage allowance, this is the number of free mls (or kms) you can drive the vehicle for free. If you exceed the mileage allowance you will be charged a fee per mile (or km) you drive over the allowance.
With additional days you may also receive additional mileage allowance, The mileage allowance is typically 100 miles (160 kms) per day.
Relocations may also include additional inclusions such as a gas allowances, ferry tickets or linen kits and other kitchen amenities. If they are not included in the relocation they maybe able to be purchased from the supplier. You can find out more about the inclusions by reading the terms and conditions of the relocation.
These inclusions are provided by the supplier and are not provided by Imoova. If you have any questions about the inclusions please contact the supplier directly.
