Things to see on a Tasmania Roadtrip

Starting with the most obvious, you of course have to visit Cradle Mountain whilst in Tasmania. Specifically Dove Lake, Marions Lookout, Lake St Clair, and Ronny's Creek. Once you get to the visitors centre a shuttle bus will take you round all of the best spots, as no cars are allowed within the national park. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for a Tasmanian Devil.

Wineglass Bay is considered to be one of the world's top 10 beaches - Bondi who? It's located on Tasmania's east coast, right on the edge of Freycinet National Park. You can spend the night at the nearby Wineglass Bay Campsite which offers unparalleled views of the water. Be sure to also visit nearby Hazards Beach, Lemon Rock, & Cape Tourville Lighthouse.

If you're an experienced hiker then the Walls of Jerusalem might just be for you. There are 4 peaks to climb but please be advised that it's considered to be highly challenging and there are very few facilities.

When driving down to Hobart, you should make a pit stop at Launceston - the state's second largest city. There's no shortage of things to see and do, including Cataract Gorge, Saturday morning markets, Queen Victoria Museum, and visit the vineyards at Tamar Valley. Eat at Alida restaurant, located right in front of a waterfall!

The Bay of Fires looks otherworldly with pristine clear waters and orange granite rocks. Spend time in the nearby St Helens, Binalong Bay, Skeleton Bay, Cosy Corner or The Gardens.
