Reinventing the wheel
Learn about how to hire a relocation vehicle. What considerations you should be aware of and what to expect.
When the supplier needs to relocate a vehicle, they will list the vehicles on Imoova. The supplier will set the relocation cost, the number of days allowed and locations for pickup and drop off.
These deals that are listed are valid at the time of listing, however during the day they may be booked by customers on full price rentals, other booking agents or by other Imoova customers.
Your booking is not confirmed until the supplier approves your booking and issues you with a reference number. We strongly recommend that you do not make other travel arrangements until your booking is confirmed.
When you book a relocation with Imoova, your request is sent to the supplier for approval. If the supplier approves your request, you will be notified via email. If you're booking is placed outside of business hours, it may take up to 48 hours for the supplier to approve your booking.
When your booking is approved, you will receive an email with the full information about the supplier, the pickup and drop off locations and a booking reference with the supplier.
The supplier will contact you with information about the booking and also may require you do a check-in before picking up the vehicle.
The supplier will provide you with the most up to date information about the relocation. If you notice any discrepancies between the information, you should abide by the information provided by the supplier.
When you pickup your vehicle, you will be required to pay for the relocation cost of the vehicle and you will be refunded your holding deposit. Typically, you will be given a refund as the holding deposit is greater than the relocation cost.
You will also be required to pay a security deposit (bond) to the supplier. This deposit is refunded to you when you return the vehicle to the supplier in the same condition as you received.
Read moreWhen dropping off your vehicle, make sure you arrive at the depot before the closing time. If you arrive after the closing time, you will be charged an extra day and potentially a late fee from the supplier. If you are running late, call the depot and let them know. They may be able to make an exception for you.
If your relocation has any fuel inclusions, you will need to submit your receipts to the supplier when you drop off the vehicle. The supplier will advise you on how to submit your receipts.
