An amount of either $5,000 NZD or $7,500 NZD depending on vehicle type will be held on your credit card on collection of the vehicle. The hold is released to you on return of the vehicle in the same condition as it was collected. Typically, this will take a minimum of 7-10 business days for your financial institution to release the pre-authorised bond amount back to your account. You can upgrade to one of our other insurance waiver options to lower the bond amount, or remove the bond altogether.
