Under the Basic Protection Plan, an amount of 3,674 NZD is required to be paid to the supplier on collection of the vehicle, and the Maximum Liability would be 4,593 NZD. With the Premium Protection Plan, the Security Deposit amount is only 919 NZD and the Maximum Liability goes down to 366 NZD. The deposit is refunded to you upon the return of the vehicle in the same condition as it was collected. This can take up to 7-10 business days for your financial institution to release the pre-authorized bond amount back to your account.
