This campervan rental New Zealand is the upgraded version of our initial LDV campervan conversion. The rear lounge offers a comfortable U-shape style seating arrangement with additional storage below the far rear of the vehicle.

Three front seats, the passenger airbag disable switch and a large bed offer a compact solution, designed for up to 3 travellers including children. The passenger airbag can be switch-disabled if this is needed for rear facing child restraints.

Standard features include an on-board touch screen tabloid system with reversing camera, LPG gas heating, a hard-wired stereo/TV system, a pull-out pantry, ambient LED night lighting and ample storage. The rear of the lounge suite also includes a large drawer, big enough to accommodate medium sized suitcases or a variety of soft travel bags.

The interior furniture is made from durable plywood, covered by hard wearing yet visually attractive Formica veneer. The appliances feature an 85l fridge, 2 stove gas cooking, a shower toilet cubicle, a large and comfortable bed and generous storage compartments. Dunlop foam and quality Warwick fabrics ensure you can rest comfortably.

The hot water is powered by a heat exchanger, connected to the vehicle cooling system. There is no need for gas or any other fuel to heat water. Once the engine reaches operating temperature, the in-house water will be hot for a period of up to 24 hours.

The on-board dual house battery system provides a generous 2.88-kilowatt hours of battery storage. Combined with a quality charging system, this vehicle will last when freedom camping off grid. USB ports and a separate 12V power supply ensure you can charge 12-volt appliances anywhere you go.
